*a friday flower* ...with shopping...

the house has been hit by a tornado...
the littlest kiddo is home poorly...as in sitting with a bucket between her little legs sick...
the toast & tea from breakfast is staring at me from the bench...
i got a phone call from a father of one of my sons mates-he's stuck in france so i have his kiddo for pickup and tea tonight...
we are down one lost *very new* school lunchbox...
&
the cat is wrestling with the box of it's *posh* food, as it seems to have given up on being nice to me to get fed...

yep...this is the *fallout* after the shopping day...
somehow i am still sitting here with my post-shopping fix all aglow...
it doesn't *faze* me today...the semi chaos of my dining room & kitchen...

because
1. i went shopping with my british bestie ALL day yesterday...
&
2. we pretty much finished my christmas shopping!

that list was *crossed off* BIG time my friends...
i have the scrumpled up piece of paper in the bottom of one of the shopping bags to prove it...
& the sore feet...
& the fall out...

but..... it's a friday....
i lurve fridays...our whole house lurves fridays.....
even a friday with a little sick kiddo, a hungry cat & a lost kitchen bench top!

& i love * a friday flower* which i share with my friend the lovely laura
a virtual flower given to a special person on a friday....
as she says today: "heres to good friends...."

i totally embrace that thinking...
especially when that friend is one you didn't expect to make when moving countries...
especially when that friend is funny & witty & makes you laugh...
&
especially when that friend takes you shopping for the day...
in her car...
with her driving...
so that you just sit back & write lists....
& laugh at her witty banter....


so....*a friday flower* i shall give today, to my witty, gorgeous, beautiful, patient british bestie jane...
the friend i never knew i'd need or find when we moved across the globe...
i love you honey...
hell we all you in this big ol'house...
