I am a Computer Technician and I really love my job. It is a very challenging and rewarding job. The other day I was trying to help one of our salesmen who was experiencing trouble connecting to the internet. We were communicating by telephone and he was in Canada and I was in North Carolina. I was having difficulty communicating because the salesman's primary language was French and mine is West Virginia Southern English Slang.
I was trying to get the gentleman to close a box that was open on his screen. There were two buttons that could be clicked on to close the box or at least I believed there were, so I asked him if there were and he said yes I can choose OK or Cancel.
I told him to say OK. I heard him repeat OK. I waited a few seconds and asked if the box was still open. He said that it was. I told him to say OK. He said OK. I realized that he was taking me literally and had to mute the phone while I roared with laughter. I heard him say on the phone, "Are you still There"? I unmuted the phone and said to use his mouse to move his cursor over the button that said OK and right click. The Salesman said OK and I totally lost it. When I recovered, I had to transfer the call to a colleague to finish helping the salesman.
