2011: What is coming to the Blog

Our 2011 upcoming activities are going to be extremely broad this year. We are working diligently to provide the very best in information, resources and training to educators, youth outreach workers, law enforcement, social services and parents. We are doing this through a broad spectrum of social media, including the launch of our new website. <br /><br /><div> </div><strong>We look to increase our presence of through social media:</strong><br /><ul><li><strong>Twitter:</strong> We tweet as much as possible on numerous topics of interest regarding the GATE program, news surrounding gangs, drugs and youth violence. Be sure to follow us!</li><li><strong>Facebook: </strong>Look for updates, questions posted to our friends and followers. See what they think!</li><li><strong>Myspace:</strong> We are still working on this page, but look for it's debut as well.</li><li><strong>Website:</strong> Our new website will be up and running soon, we will have a new look, some awesome features, we look forward to its debut!</li></ul><strong>Training Opportunities</strong><br />Training is one area that we are always trying to improve upon. We are looking to expand our partnerships with other organizations and groups to deliver the very best in new ideas and updated programs.  What you can expect from us is the very best training, that is both cutting edge and cost effective.  As a reminder all of these courses are available on site. Which means we can come to you. Ask us how we can arrange that. It not only makes it much more economical for you and your organization. <br /><br />We are also working currently on two new programs, one is a probation based program for youth. This program is still in the research phase and we will be presenting portions of it over the next six to nine months of 2011.  In addition, we have a combined program for law enforcement in the use of Probation Agents in the area of gang interdiction.
